My Vision Board with AI – From Imagination to Reality!

We all have dreams. Spending quality time with family, travelling to beautiful places, experiencing new things and setting goals for the future are some of the things we often imagine. But what if we could see these dreams right in front of us instead of keeping them only in our minds? With this thought, I decided to create a special family image for my Vision Board with the help of AI.

The Idea: A Jungle Safari Picnic!

I wanted to create a large picture for a window curtain (Flex Curtain) at my home. The planned dimensions were 5 feet wide and 4 feet high. The theme was simple yet meaningful – a joyful day spent with my family at a beautiful natural destination!

In my AI Prompt, I described a jungle safari, a beautiful lake, lush green trees, mountains, a Safari Jeep and a picnic setup. I clearly instructed the AI to include my wife, son, daughter and me in the picture. I also mentioned my wheelchair and goggles as important visual details. For the children's outfits, I suggested Korean fashion, while my wife's outfit was planned in her preferred shade of purple.

More Than Just a Photograph – A Vision!

The purpose of this image was not simply to create a beautiful family photograph. I wanted it to represent a positive picture of the future. So, I asked the AI to include the words “Vision - 2030” in the sky, designed subtly in a cloud-like style without making the text too prominent.

Since the final picture was intended for a large curtain, I also had to consider its layout carefully. The family needed to remain in the centre of the 5 × 4 feet design, with the natural landscape visible around them. Most importantly, no face or essential part of any family member should be cut off in the actual visible area of the curtain. I therefore specified a safe central area for the family composition.

A Prompt Is a Conversation with AI!

One important lesson I learned during this process is that simply telling AI, “Create a beautiful picture of my family,” is not enough to get the desired result. The background, number of people, clothing, poses, natural facial appearance, lighting, image dimensions and even the text to be included must be clearly described in the Prompt.

It is not necessary that everything will be perfect in the first attempt. Sometimes the faces may not look as similar as expected, or certain details in the image may change. In such situations, the Prompt needs to be refined while keeping the original idea intact. AI is a useful creative tool, but reviewing the final image and choosing the best result remain our responsibility.

What This Image Means to Me

For me, this image is much more than a design to be printed on a curtain. It is a reminder of spending happy moments with family, exploring new experiences and keeping future dreams alive.

Perhaps that is the real purpose of a Vision Board – keeping our dreams in front of our eyes every day and drawing inspiration from them to work towards making them a reality.

You don't need a big budget to dream. Sometimes, a good idea and the right Prompt are all you need!
